Nancy Topko, the winner of the 15th season of the popular cooking show MasterChef, recently shared her experiences studying at the prestigious culinary school Le Cordon Bleu in London during an interview.

Nancy Topko, the celebrated winner of the 15th season of the popular culinary competition MasterChef, recently provided insights into her educational journey at the renowned culinary institution Le Cordon Bleu in London. In a candid conversation with Natalia Tomash, the creator of the YouTube channel Natalia Tomash | London Stories, Nancy opened up about her impressions of the school and her future plans, which promise to be quite exciting.

During the interview, Nancy took the audience behind the scenes of her training at Le Cordon Bleu, revealing her daily experiences. She mentioned that she initially did not want her classmates to know about her status as the winner of MasterChef Ukraine. However, this secret was soon unveiled on the very first day when a list of students was posted on the wall, highlighting her status in bold letters: 'the winner of MasterChef-Ukraine.'

Nancy recounted the varied reactions from her classmates upon discovering her identity. Some felt a sense of competition, while others offered their support, assisting her during practical classes. "At this point, there is no longer any competition because we have all become friends, and we know each other well. I can honestly say that my group respects me as a chef," she shared.

The young chef also emphasized that she does not feel any privileges due to her victory on the show. "To be honest, I have never felt any privileges, but I never counted on them either because we are all on the same level here. Yes, perhaps I am a step ahead, but that is solely due to my experience, and I fully understand that," Nancy explained.

Additionally, Nancy revealed that she does not plan to continue her studies in the Superior course at Le Cordon Bleu. "Overall, this is due to visa issues, and I also understand that I may not have much time for studying right now, and it's time to start working and seriously engage in my career," she noted. Nancy believes that London is one of the major culinary capitals of the world, and she envisions her future here.

Nancy also has plans for two internships: one at a Michelin-starred establishment and another at a two-star venue. She highlighted that the culinary community in London is very welcoming, and chefs actively support the new generation of cooks. "It actually cost me tears and everything else because I applied to an incredible number of establishments. I simply did not get responses, faced rejections, and was told that I lacked experience… But out of a hundred doors, two opened, and I think that is already a fantastic result for a start," Nancy concluded.
