Currently, the PUMB mobile application boasts over 2.4 million users and offers more than 150 features, enabling customers to conduct 98% of all standard banking operations without the need to visit a physical branch. The application has demonstrated one of the highest Net Promoter Scores (NPS) in the market, exceeding 80%. The continuous growth in both user numbers and engagement levels indicates the success of the bank's strategic initiatives.
PUMB emphasizes that its primary focus is on the continuous development of its mobile application, investing in cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence-based solutions, as well as the rapid implementation of new features. Dmytro Polishchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Retail Business at PUMB, stated, 'We are developing our application as the main point of interaction between the client and the bank. Therefore, it is important for us not just to add all the necessary features but to be the first to implement solutions that genuinely simplify our clients' financial operations. We systematically invest in the adoption of technologies and solutions that make PUMB a driver of change and innovation in the financial market.'
The bank is not only focused on quality but also on the speed of implementing new solutions. In recent months, PUMB has become the first bank in Ukraine to introduce a series of innovations. For instance, in January 2026, the bank launched a feature that allows users to scan bills, receipts, and IBANs, enabling artificial intelligence to quickly read details from all receipts via a smartphone camera, significantly reducing the likelihood of data entry errors.
Moreover, in December 2025, PUMB integrated AI into its Customer Value Management (CVM) models, which facilitated the creation of a New Year's advent calendar for clients, offering 20 million personalized predictions, gifts, and greetings. These were tailored cashback and bonus offers based on customer behavior and the relevance of the offers.
In January 2026, the bank also introduced a 'Financial Academy' within the application, providing an integrated educational space with practical advice and scenarios for utilizing financial tools. By early March 2026, PUMB became the first bank in Ukraine to receive authorization from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) to offer non-financial payment services as part of its open banking launch.
In November 2025, PUMB initiated the first loyalty program for blood donors in Ukraine, allowing participants to receive enhanced cashback from the bank and socially responsible businesses. By the end of 2025, the bank also implemented an expanded loyalty model for regular currency transactions within the application, which considers both the purchase and sale of currency, offering additional foreign exchange functionalities.
Alongside these innovations, PUMB is actively enhancing features that transform customer interaction. For example, the application now includes personalized financial tips that not only analyze spending but also suggest specific actions, such as saving, optimizing expenses, or utilizing credit products.
Another significant innovation is the global search feature, which provides a single access point to all application functions. Users can find over 100 services through text queries, saving time on navigating through sections.
PUMB emphasizes that the key distinction in their approach lies not in the quantity of features but in creating a holistic experience where the application acts as a personal financial assistant. This combination of rapid implementation, technology, and real customer benefits enables the PUMB application not only to receive industry awards but also to set a new standard for mobile banking in Ukraine.
