Russian Forces Shell 36 Settlements in Kherson Region, Four Injured
In the past 24 hours, Russian troops have shelled 36 settlements in the Kherson region, resulting in four injuries, according to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
In the Kherson region, over the last day, Russian military forces have launched attacks on 36 settlements, leading to injuries for four individuals. This alarming information was shared by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, via his Telegram channel.
Prokudin reported that under continuous enemy terror, which includes drone strikes, aerial bombardments, and artillery shelling, numerous settlements have been affected. Among those targeted are Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovsk, Naddnipryanske, Komyshany, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka, Bilozirka, Romashkove, Yantarne, Veletynske, Novodymytrivka, Rozliv, Kizomys, Honcharne, Tomyna Balka, Mykilske, Novotyahynka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Burhunka, Urozhayne, Novovoskresenske, Novokairy, Khreshchenivka, Shevchenkivka, Lviv, Mykhailivka, Novooleksandrivka, Respublikanets, Sablukivka, Tyahynka, Vesele, and Kherson.
As a result of these bombardments, 15 multi-storey residential buildings, four private houses, a service station, a gas pipeline, agricultural machinery, a private garage, and several vehicles have sustained damage. These figures indicate the severe destruction that civilian infrastructure has experienced due to the ongoing aggression.
Additionally, it was previously reported that a new type of mine, which features electronic control and a combined action mechanism, was discovered in Kherson. This mine resembles a fabric roll on the outside, raising further concerns regarding the safety of residents in the region.
The situation in the Kherson region remains tense as local residents continue to suffer from the consequences of military actions. Authorities are urging the population to exercise caution and avoid dangerous areas where explosive remnants may be left behind.
