The Number of Injured in Sumy Due to Night Attack Rises to 13

Kryvosheienko noted that the attack lasted for three hours during the night and caused serious consequences for the city. As of now, among the injured is one child. All the injured received the necessary medical assistance, with two of them hospitalized for further treatment.

The child, who was also injured during the attack, received medical help on-site, but their parents refused hospitalization. Additionally, eight other residents were present at additional locations, sustaining minor injuries and also receiving medical assistance at the scene.

The head of the Military Administration reported that as a result of the attack, roofs were damaged at four recorded locations in the city, as well as over 300 windows in four multi-story residential buildings. Furthermore, the gas infrastructure was damaged, leading to disruptions in energy supply in some areas.

In response to the situation during the night, temporary accommodation sites were prepared for people who might be left without shelter. In the morning, operational headquarters were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the enemy strikes, aiming to provide swift assistance to the affected residents.

Currently, emergency recovery operations are ongoing, with specialists providing advisory assistance to residents of the damaged buildings to ease their situation following the attack.

It is worth noting that in the past day, three people have died in the Sumy region due to Russian aggression, and another 22 have been injured, including children. This situation underscores the alarming reality faced by residents of the region amid ongoing attacks.
