Kramatorsk has once again become a target for Russian military forces, which launched an attack on the city on April 6, utilizing the 'Smerch' multiple rocket launcher. This information was revealed in a statement from the Kramatorsk City Council, published on the social media platform Telegram and reported by the Ukrinform news agency.

The strike occurred at 12:13 PM local time, with its epicenter located in the yard of a multi-story residential building situated in the central part of Kramatorsk. As a result of this shelling, a woman born in 1951 sustained injuries. The report indicates that her condition is not severe, and she has already received the necessary medical assistance. Following treatment, the woman was directed to outpatient care, indicating that her injuries do not pose a life-threatening risk.

Furthermore, this horrific shelling resulted in damage to 18 multi-story residential buildings, as well as an educational institution, several commercial establishments, an administrative building, and 13 vehicles. This incident underscores the serious consequences of the aggression that Russian forces continue to perpetrate on Ukrainian territory, particularly in the Donetsk region.

According to information provided by Ukrinform, on April 5, Russian invaders had already killed one resident of the Donetsk region, highlighting the ongoing threats to the civilian population in the area. These events are causing concern among local residents, who face daily dangers due to military actions.

In light of these events, the Kramatorsk City Council has urged residents to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures. Authorities continue to work on ensuring safety and supporting those affected, but the situation remains tense.

It is worth noting that Kramatorsk, like many other cities in the Donetsk region, has been under fire and attacks for an extended period, causing damage not only to infrastructure but also to human lives. Local residents are trying to adapt to the new conditions, but the constant threat posed by the aggressor makes their lives extremely challenging.
