Russians Launch Over 50 Attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Communities Today - Five Dead, 27 Injured
On April 4, Dnipropetrovsk faced serious assaults from Russian forces, resulting in more than 50 shellings across various communities, as reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Today, April 4, Dnipropetrovsk has suffered severe attacks from Russian troops, who carried out over 50 shellings across the region's communities. This alarming update was shared by Oleksandr Hanzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, via his Telegram channel, as reported by the Ukrinform news agency.
According to Hanzha, these aggressive assaults have resulted in the deaths of five individuals, while an additional 27 people have sustained injuries. The attacks occurred in three districts of the region, particularly in Nikopol, where the district center was affected, along with the Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovsk, Marhanets, and Myrivka communities. As a result of the shelling, more than thirty commercial pavilions, an agricultural enterprise, a private house, an outbuilding, and a vehicle were damaged.
Hanzha also noted that 26 people were injured due to strikes on the market. Furthermore, a 42-year-old man was wounded in a separate attack and is currently receiving outpatient treatment.
Additionally, in the Mykolaiv community of the Synelnykove district, a fire broke out in a residence, while in the Hrusheva community, located in Kryvyi Rih, a private house was severely damaged. These incidents underscore the tense situation in the region.
It is important to recall that on the morning of April 4, Russian forces launched an attack on Nikopol using FPV drones. At that time, reports indicated five fatalities and 25 injuries. These events highlight the dire humanitarian situation in the region, where civilians continue to suffer from ongoing aggression.
Authorities are urging the population to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures, as the situation may deteriorate further. Concurrently, due to the constant shelling, many individuals are leaving their homes in search of safer locations.
