Three Injured in Kharkiv Region Due to Enemy Strikes

On April 5, 2023, hostile shelling occurred in the Kharkiv region, resulting in injuries to three people. This information was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office via its Telegram channel, as conveyed by the Ukrinform news agency.
According to the prosecutor's office, around 09:00 in the village of Lisne, an attack was carried out, likely using a Shahed-type drone. The shelling damaged a private residence, prompting the 46-year-old homeowner to seek medical assistance.
Additionally, at approximately 09:45, another drone strike occurred in the settlement of Slatyne, with the type of drone currently being determined. This attack resulted in damage to a residential building, injuring a woman who sustained wounds.
At around 11:10, in the city of Chuhuiv, a drone strike (type currently being established) hit an outbuilding, leading to a fire. Medical assistance was provided to a 56-year-old woman at the scene, who was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. During the examination of the site, remnants of a V2U-type drone were discovered, confirming the attack.
In light of these events, pre-trial investigations have been initiated under the procedural guidance of the Derhachi and Chuhuiv district prosecutor's offices in the Kharkiv region, concerning the commission of war crimes as stipulated by Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that Russian forces attacked the village of Velykyi Burluk in the Kharkiv region with strike drones on the morning of April 5, raising concerns among local residents.
These incidents further highlight the tense situation in eastern Ukraine, where enemy shelling has become a grim reality for many settlements. Local authorities and law enforcement continue to take measures to ensure the safety of citizens and document the crimes committed during the war.
