Fire Point Receives Drone Purchase Requests from Gulf Countries

Fire Point, a company renowned for its innovative drone technology, has received numerous requests for drone purchases from Gulf countries. This development comes as the company awaits government approval from Ukraine to commence its export process.

Fire Point, a company known for its innovative technologies in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), has garnered significant interest from Gulf countries, receiving numerous requests for the purchase of its drones. This information was reported by Reuters, which noted that the company is currently waiting for approval from the Ukrainian government to initiate the export process of its products.

Denis Shtilerman, co-founder and chief designer of Fire Point, emphasized in his comments that the company has the capacity to export up to 2,500 long-range drones each month. This highlights the substantial potential of the company in the manufacturing and supply of modern drones to the international market.

However, according to Shtilerman, the export of Flamingo missiles presents a much more complex challenge due to existing regulatory barriers. This could complicate the company's plans for expanding its business on a global scale.

Fire Point claims to produce hundreds of long-range strike drones daily, with the production cost of each drone being approximately €50,000. Additionally, the company manufactures Flamingo missiles, which cost around €600,000 per unit. These figures indicate significant investments and a high level of technological advancement within the enterprise.

Shtilerman also acknowledged certain 'bottlenecks' in the production of Flamingo missiles, particularly in engine manufacturing. This could pose an obstacle to further scaling up production and meeting the growing demand for the company's products.

Nevertheless, the positive news is that Fire Point plans to increase the production of Flamingo missiles. This will be feasible when the company launches the serial production of its new engine in October. Furthermore, a rocket fuel production facility in Denmark is expected to commence operations later this year, which should positively impact the company's production capabilities.

Fire Point is currently awaiting two final approvals from Danish authorities, which are necessary for the realization of these plans. In March of this year, Fire Point's CEO and CTO, Iryna Terekh, stated in an interview with Defender Media that the company intends to launch the production of solid rocket fuel at its Danish facility in 2026. She also highlighted that the first part of such an enterprise would be opened in 2026, with the main part following in 2027.

Additionally, Shtilerman shared with Reuters the company's plans to develop its own air defense system by 2027. This system is intended to be a cost-effective alternative to the well-known Patriot system, which could significantly enhance the company's competitiveness in the air defense market.

Thus, Fire Point continues to evolve and seek new opportunities for expanding its business, despite existing challenges and obstacles. The production of drones and missiles, along with plans to create new technologies, reflects the company's ambition and readiness for further growth in the international market.
