Zelensky Highlights the Role of the SBU in Drone Deployment and Mission Work in the Middle East

In his evening address on April 8, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the significant role of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in executing expert missions directed towards the Middle East. These missions aim to establish defense systems for Ukrainian partners in the region, which is a crucial element in strengthening international cooperation and security.

Zelensky noted that SBU units, which work in close collaboration with other elements of the Defense and Security Forces, play a key role in protecting Ukraine on the front lines. He specifically highlighted the Special Operations Center 'A' of the SBU, which, according to the results of March, became the top unit in terms of drone deployment, demonstrating high efficiency rates.

"I also want to acknowledge the units of the Service that, together with other elements of the Defense and Security Forces, are defending Ukraine on the front lines. The Special Operations Center 'A' of the SBU is the first in March for drone deployment, achieving the most effective results," the president emphasized, expressing gratitude to military experts for their dedicated work.

Furthermore, Zelensky pointed out that military experts from the SBU successfully completed tasks related to establishing defense systems for some of Ukraine's partners in the Middle East. These expert missions dispatched to the region reflect Ukraine's active participation in shaping security strategies at the international level.

"Building a new defense system remains a task, and based on our long-term agreements, we will engage the necessary units," the president added, underscoring the importance of continued work by Ukrainian expert missions in Middle Eastern and Gulf countries.

This activity is part of a broader strategy by Ukraine aimed at enhancing not only its own defense capabilities and security but also that of its international partners.
