Zelensky Announces New Agreements on Cooperation with Countries Attacked by Iran
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of collaboration with nations under threat from the Iranian regime in a recent address published on his official Telegram channel.
In his address, President Zelensky highlighted Ukraine's active involvement in various formats of interaction with international partners aimed at ensuring greater security and strengthening collective forces. He pointed out that new agreements have been established that will allow Ukraine to further represent its interests in new security formats.
Zelensky stated that these developments would significantly enhance Ukraine's export capabilities and the country's defense potential. He also mentioned that Rustem Umerov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, will provide a detailed report on the week's activities tomorrow, which will cover cooperation with each country from the Gulf to Turkey.
During his speech, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha participated today in a joint format with European partners, discussing the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and issues related to freedom of navigation. According to him, these matters are extremely important for the global state of affairs and security.
The President of Ukraine further stressed that the country possesses the necessary expertise regarding maritime routes, as well as the protection and restoration of movement in these waters. He noted that if partners are ready to take action, Ukraine is prepared to consider opportunities to enhance cooperation by contributing its expertise, knowledge, and technological potential.
Zelensky asserted that in today's world, it is impossible to imagine real security without Ukraine's participation. He expressed gratitude to all who recognize this and to those with whom Ukraine is already collaborating.
