In Dnipro, as a result of a large-scale special operation, law enforcement agencies have apprehended individuals related to an attack on a judge. This crime was associated with the professional activities of the victim, as reported by the National Police of Ukraine through their Telegram channel on Monday.

According to information released by the police, the arrested individuals are men aged between 33 and 36 years. The attack on the judge occurred on March 13 at approximately 5:00 PM in the Soborny district of the city, when the woman exited her vehicle. At that moment, she was assaulted by three men, who fled the scene in a car after committing the crime.

As a result of this attack, the judge sustained bodily injuries, which underscores the seriousness of the situation and the urgent need for action from law enforcement. The police emphasize that the attack was directly linked to the professional activities of the victim, raising additional concerns regarding the safety of judges and legal professionals in Ukraine.

Currently, the detained individuals have been informed of their suspicion under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In particular, these include Part 3 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 146, which pertains to attempted unlawful deprivation of liberty or kidnapping, as well as Part 2 of Article 377, which relates to threats or violence against a judge, juror, or lay judge. Additionally, the detainees are charged with Part 4 of Article 296, which concerns hooliganism.

This decision is a crucial step in the case, as it aims to ensure the safety of not only the victim but also other potential witnesses and participants in the process.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement is actively working to identify other possible participants in the crime, as well as its masterminds.
