Arrests Made in Attack on Judge in Dnipropetrovsk Region: Police Conduct Special Operation

In Dnipropetrovsk, as a result of a special operation carried out by law enforcement, police have successfully apprehended individuals suspected of attacking a judge, an incident that took place on March 13 in the Soborny district of Dnipro. The announcement was made on Monday, April 6, by the National Police of Ukraine, highlighting the swift action taken by authorities in response to this alarming event.

According to investigative reports, the victim, a female judge from the Industrial District Court of Dnipro, was assaulted as she exited her vehicle. The attack was executed by three men who fled the scene in a car immediately after committing the crime. The judge sustained bodily injuries that necessitated medical intervention, raising serious concerns about the safety of judicial officials in the region.

Law enforcement agencies acted promptly to apprehend those involved in the attack, identifying the suspects as men aged between 33 and 36 years. Police reports indicate that the assault on the judge was linked to her professional duties, prompting a comprehensive investigation. In connection with the case, a total of 38 authorized searches were conducted across the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions, targeting the residences and vehicles of the suspects.

It is important to note that on March 15, the Council of Judges of Ukraine officially reported the attack on the judge, which resulted in a severe head injury that required hospitalization. The attackers struck the woman on the head, used pepper spray, and attempted to forcibly place her in their vehicle. The judge's husband, who tried to intervene during the abduction, also sustained injuries in the altercation.
