Occupiers Shell Private Sector in Kherson, Causing Fire

In Kherson, the private sector has once again become a target of aggressive artillery fire from Russian military forces. According to a report by Ukrinform, Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, disclosed information about the shelling and shared a video demonstrating the aftermath of this horrific incident on his Telegram channel.

"The Russians continue to strike residential areas of Kherson. The private sector in the Dniprovs'kyi district of the city has come under artillery fire," Prokudin noted, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. This shelling serves as yet another testament to the ongoing attacks on the civilian population that have persisted for an extended period.

As a result of a hostile shell hitting the territory of one of the private yards, an outbuilding caught fire, and a vehicle was also set ablaze. Thanks to the prompt response of firefighters, who quickly arrived at the scene, the blaze was extinguished, preventing further spread of the fire.

The head of the regional administration highlighted that, fortunately, no one was injured as a result of this shelling. This is an important fact, as in wartime, every instance where civilian casualties can be avoided holds significant value.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Kherson has faced strikes from Russian troops. As previously reported by Ukrinform, in the Korabel'nyi district of Kherson, four people were killed, and seven others were injured due to Russian strikes on residential buildings. These tragic events underscore the danger that residents of the city face on a daily basis.
