The primary source of income for local budgets remains the personal income tax, which contributed nearly ₴76 billion, reflecting an 18.8% increase compared to the previous year. This tax is a crucial element for financing local programs and initiatives, especially in the context of the ongoing state of war in Ukraine.

Among other sources of revenue, the single tax stands out, bringing in ₴21.8 billion, which is a 10.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Significant amounts were also collected from property taxes, totaling ₴14.6 billion (+13.4%), and corporate profit tax, which provided ₴11.8 billion (+3.6%).

Growth has also been observed in specific payments. For instance, revenues from the tourist tax increased by 23.6%, amounting to ₴82.2 million. Communities also received 23.4% more in rent payments for resource usage, totaling ₴250.6 million. These figures reflect a revitalization of economic activity in the regions.

Parking fees have also shown positive dynamics, totaling ₴56.2 million, which is a 17.5% increase compared to last year. The environmental tax also demonstrated growth, reaching nearly ₴400 million (+4.8%). These revenues are essential for financing environmental initiatives and projects within cities.

The State Tax Service emphasizes that these revenues are key to funding local programs, especially during wartime when resource needs are heightened. Revenues to local budgets serve as an important indicator of economic stability and development at the local level.

According to information provided by the Tax Service, over ₴85 billion in taxes were collected for local budgets in January-February 2026, marking a 13.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
