131 Combat Engagements Recorded at the Front Since Dawn – General Staff

As of Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the Ukrainian General Staff reported 131 combat engagements at the front, with significant enemy activity observed in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions.

Since the dawn of Wednesday, October 25, 2023, there have been 131 combat engagements recorded at the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The report highlights that the highest level of enemy activity is currently concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions.

The General Staff's statement indicates that throughout the day, the enemy has carried out 40 airstrikes, dropping 140 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the adversary has deployed 4,510 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,678 shellings of populated areas and positions held by Ukrainian troops. These figures reflect a high level of combat activity across all fronts.

In the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled one enemy attack. Simultaneously, the enemy launched 45 shellings against Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including three using multiple launch rocket systems. This underscores the ongoing threat posed by Russian forces in these regions.

In the southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy has made five attempts to storm Ukrainian positions in the areas of Vovchansky Khutory, Synelnykove, Prylipka, and Lyman. These assaults indicate the enemy's efforts to strengthen their positions in the south, despite the resistance from Ukrainian forces.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four enemy assaults aimed at the settlements of Novoosynove, Kivsharivka, and Novoplatonivka. Another engagement is ongoing, demonstrating the continuation of active combat operations in this area.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops also repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Zarichne, as well as towards the settlements of Novyi Myr and Lyman. This highlights the resilience of Ukrainian forces in countering aggression.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian military successfully repelled three assaults by the occupiers towards Riznykivka, showcasing their readiness to fend off attacks. In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted one attack towards Tykhonivka, but Ukrainian forces managed to halt the enemy's advance.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, defense forces repelled 18 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Stepaniivka, Novopavlivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, and Sofiivka. Another engagement is ongoing, indicating a tense situation in this region.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 24 attacks, attempting to advance in the areas of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Muravka, Gryshyne, Udačne, Filia, as well as towards Bilitske, Novooleksandrivka, and Serhiivka. One engagement is still ongoing. Preliminary estimates suggest that 76 occupiers have been eliminated in this direction, with 33 wounded; a ground robotic complex, one personnel shelter, four communication antennas, seven vehicles, and 11 units of enemy special equipment have been destroyed, along with damage to one tank, four artillery systems, seven vehicles, three motor vehicles, six UAV control points, and 37 enemy infantry shelters. Additionally, 118 drones of various types have been destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers made five attempts to improve their positions, advancing towards the settlements of Lisne, Oleksandrohrad, Novoselivka, and in the area of Novohryhorivka. This indicates the enemy's persistent attempts to strengthen their positions on this front.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 15 attacks by the occupiers towards the settlements of Pryliuky, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Varvarivka, as well as in the areas of Myrnyi and Huliaipole. Two engagements are ongoing. The enemy also conducted airstrikes in the areas of Lisne, Nova Pole, Vozdyzhivka, Pryliuky, Verkhnya Tersa, Liubytske, Hirke, Huliaipilske, Barvinivka, Shyroke, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Veselyanka, Mykil'ske, and Kushuhum, but did not conduct offensive actions. This reflects the enemy's attempts to inflict damage without direct advancement.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy made five unsuccessful assault attempts towards the Antonivskyi Bridge and the Bilohrudyi Island. This further emphasizes the failures of the adversary in their attempts to advance on this front.
