In the winter period of 2023, Russia conducted 14 massive combined attacks on the territory of Ukraine. This information was disclosed by Colonel Yuriy Ignat during a live broadcast, where he serves as the head of the Communications Department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The details were reported by a correspondent from Ukrinform.

Colonel Ignat emphasized that the Ukrainian Air Defense successfully repels enemy attacks daily, which are carried out using conventional drones. However, he noted that there are also combined and massive attacks that pose a serious threat to the country's security. The occurrence of 14 such attacks during the winter period indicates the aggressor's ongoing activity.

The colonel highlighted that critical infrastructure remains a priority target for the enemy. This specifically includes energy facilities, gas extraction, and oil and gas sectors, as well as certain industrial enterprises. Unfortunately, civilian objects often come under fire, leading to casualties among the population.

It is worth noting that recently, during the night from April 3 to April 4, Ukrainian air defense managed to neutralize 260 out of 286 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukrainian territory. This showcases the high level of training and effectiveness of the Ukrainian air defense forces, which are working to protect the country in the face of constant threats.
