On the morning of October 26, the Odesa region once again faced hostile attacks as Russian drones targeted the area's civilian infrastructure. Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported that the strikes resulted in fires, but fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to information released by Kiper on the social media platform Telegram, enemy drones struck residential buildings and the port area. In the port zone, containers caught fire, and four passenger vehicles sustained damage. Additionally, two hangars were destroyed, becoming victims of the hostile attacks.

In the residential sector, one private home was damaged, with the facade, roof, and windows affected. Destruction was also noted in an unfinished building, indicating the force of the strikes. A fire broke out on the balcony and gas pipe of a multi-story building, which could have led to even greater problems had it not been for the prompt actions of firefighters.

Emergency services are currently on-site, working to mitigate the aftermath of the attacks. Firefighters responded quickly to the fires, which were extinguished without delay. Meanwhile, municipal services are addressing the damages caused by the shelling.

This attack serves as yet another confirmation that Russian military forces continue to target Ukraine's civilian infrastructure despite numerous calls from the international community to cease aggression. The Odesa region, which has been a victim of similar attacks multiple times, once again demonstrates the resilience of its residents and their readiness to deal with the consequences of hostile actions.

It is important to note that such attacks on civilian objects not only cause material damage but also create an atmosphere of fear among the population. Local residents are forced to remain in a constant state of readiness for new shelling, which negatively affects their psychological well-being.

Oleg Kiper urged the residents of Odesa to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures, emphasizing the importance of vigilance in wartime conditions. Authorities continue to work on ensuring the safety of the population and addressing the consequences of hostile attacks, but support from all citizens is necessary for this effort.

The situation in the Odesa region remains tense, and local authorities continue to monitor the situation, responding to any threats. At the same time, the residents of the region display great courage and resilience, despite the ongoing challenges posed by the war.
