Russian Shelling in Kherson Region Claims Two Lives and Injures Ten

Russian forces have once again launched a massive shelling campaign in the Kherson region, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to ten others, as reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the regional military administration, via his Telegram channel.

Russian troops have intensified their assault on the Kherson region, leading to a tragic incident where two people lost their lives and ten others sustained injuries. This grim update was shared by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, on his Telegram channel.

In his message, Prokudin stated, "Due to Russian aggression, 2 people have died, and another 10 have been injured." These unfortunate events are the result of ongoing attacks that have plagued the region, where the enemy continues its relentless attempts to inflict harm on the civilian population.

According to the regional governor, numerous settlements faced threats from enemy drone terror, airstrikes, and artillery shelling over the past day. Among the affected areas were Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozirka, Blahovishchenske, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Veletenske, Veselye, Virivka, Dniprovskoye, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Kostyrka, Lviv, Mykil'ske, Mylove, Mykhailivka, Naddnipryanske, Nezlamne, Novovorontsovka, Novodmytrivka, Novokairy, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraisk, Prydniprovskoye, Romashkove, Sabliukivka, Sadove, Starytsia, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, Tomina Balka, Urozhayne, Charivne, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, and the city of Kherson.

Prokudin also emphasized that Russian military forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. The shelling resulted in damage to four multi-story buildings and nine private homes. Additionally, the occupiers destroyed a cellular tower, private vehicles, and an ambulance, highlighting the enemy's irresponsibility and disregard for the lives of civilian citizens.

These events unfold against a backdrop of constant threats to the civilian population, which continues to suffer from the consequences of war. Kherson region, being one of the most affected areas, urgently requires assistance and support, as each new shelling brings additional casualties and destruction.

Authorities and local organizations are working to provide aid to the victims; however, the situation remains critical.
