Enemy Attacks Bus: Three Dead in Nikopol, Twelve Injured – Regional Administration

A horrific attack occurred in Nikopol when an enemy FPV drone struck a city bus approaching a stop, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuring twelve others, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

A tragic incident unfolded in Nikopol as an enemy FPV drone targeted a city bus that was nearing a stop. This devastating attack claimed the lives of three people and left twelve others injured. The news was reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, via his Telegram channel on Tuesday morning.

According to Hanzha, the bus was filled with passengers at the time of the attack, with individuals both inside the vehicle and waiting at the stop. He emphasized that this was not a random strike but a deliberate act of terrorism against civilians. "This is conscious terror against civilians. Against people who were simply going about their business," he stated, expressing deep outrage over this horrific incident.

Emergency services are currently on the scene, providing assistance to the injured and conducting rescue operations. It has been reported that among the wounded are both adults and children, highlighting the scale of the tragedy. Rescuers are swiftly evacuating individuals from the site, attempting to provide them with the necessary medical care.

This incident serves as yet another example of the ruthless aggression perpetrated by the enemy against the peaceful population of Ukraine. Such attacks on civilian targets provoke outrage not only within Ukraine but also beyond its borders, as they violate all international norms and laws governing warfare.

It is important to note that Nikopol, located in eastern Ukraine, has been targeted by enemy attacks before. Local residents frequently face danger as the region remains an active combat zone. However, despite all the hardships, the community remains resilient and continues to live its normal life, striving to avoid panic.

In the wake of this tragedy, local authorities have urged all residents to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures. "We must remain vigilant and not lose hope. Together, we can overcome these difficulties," Hanzha added in his address to the community.

This attack underscores the necessity for international support for Ukraine in its fight against aggression. The global community must pay attention to such acts of violence and take measures to put an end to them. Only through collective efforts can the safety of civilians be ensured and peace restored in Ukraine.
