Russian Military Strikes Chernihiv Region 32 Times in One Day
The Chernihiv region has faced a series of aggressive attacks from Russian forces, with 32 strikes reported in just one day, according to regional military administration chief Vyacheslav Chaus.
According to a report by Vyacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Russian military forces have launched 32 attacks on the Chernihiv region within a single day. This alarming information was shared by Chaus on his Telegram channel and was reported by the Ukrinform news agency.
Chaus revealed that throughout the day, the enemy actively employed FPV drones to target settlements located in border areas. Notably, Russian troops deliberately struck communication facilities, indicating their intent to destroy the region's critical infrastructure. One of the most shocking incidents occurred when a drone hit a sports field in Semenivka, inciting outrage among local residents.
In addition to the drone strikes, Chaus reported another incident that took place this morning when a Russian strike drone targeted a household in one of the villages of the Kyselivka community. This attack resulted in a fire and caused significant damage to a residential building, outbuildings, and a vehicle. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene and extinguished the fire, but the extent of the destruction has raised concerns among the local population.
Furthermore, it is important to note that Russian forces also targeted administrative buildings in the towns of Novhorod-Siverskyi and Pryluky in the Chernihiv region. These strikes resulted in injuries among civilians, underscoring the danger faced by peaceful residents in a region that has been suffering from military actions for an extended period.
