Russian Forces Attack Kharkiv: One Dead, Seven Injured

In a recent attack by Russian forces on Kharkiv, one person has died, and seven others have sustained injuries. This was reported by Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, via his Telegram channel.

In a tragic escalation of violence, Russian military forces launched an attack on the city of Kharkiv, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to seven others. According to the information published by Synegubov, enemy forces targeted the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The attack caused several vehicles to catch fire, prompting emergency services to rush to the scene to mitigate the aftermath of the assault.

Later, Synegubov clarified that two men were also among those injured in the attack. Medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance to the victims. Kharkiv's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported that two of the injured individuals are in serious condition, raising significant concern among the local community.

As of the time of publication, the number of injured had risen to five, including a child. According to the mayor, the child's life is currently not in danger, and she is receiving the required medical attention. "At this moment, five individuals are known to be injured. The child, according to preliminary information, is doing fine," Terekhov stated in his post.

However, it was later confirmed that one of the men who sustained injuries during the attack tragically passed away in the hospital. "I express my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Emergency services continue to work at the site of the enemy strike," Synegubov later wrote.

By 1:00 PM, the number of injured had increased to seven. "Three of the injured are in serious condition. All are receiving the necessary medical attention," Synegubov added, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.

According to local police, among the injured is a 60-year-old man who succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, it has been reported that a two-year-old girl is exhibiting acute stress reactions as a result of the trauma experienced during the attack.

Furthermore, the attack caused damage to the windows of medical facilities and four vehicles, underscoring the severity of the enemy's actions. It was previously reported that during Russian attacks on the night of April 3, five people were injured in Kharkiv, including an infant.

This situation highlights the ongoing threat posed by hostile actions to the civilian population in Ukraine. Authorities urge everyone to remain safe and adhere to the recommendations of local officials.
