Russian Forces Attack Sumy with Drones, One Injured
A recent drone attack in Sumy has resulted in one man being injured, as reported by the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheienko.
In Sumy, a man has sustained injuries following a recent drone attack. This information was shared by Serhiy Kryvosheienko, the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, through his Telegram channel, as reported by the Ukrinform news agency.
Kryvosheienko stated that a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) struck a parking lot in the Kovalivka district of the city. As a result of this strike, two passenger cars were damaged; however, fortunately, there were no casualties in this incident.
Nevertheless, in the same area, a 52-year-old man was injured due to the attack. Medical professionals are currently providing him with care in a hospital, and his condition is assessed as stable.
This attack is part of a broader series of hostile actions that occurred overnight, raising the total number of injured individuals in Sumy to 13. These figures indicate an escalating threat to the civilian population in the region, as attacks on residential areas and infrastructure continue unabated.
It is important to note that such incidents have raised concerns among local residents, who face daily dangers due to military actions. Authorities are urging the population to remain vigilant and adhere to safety measures, especially during air raid alerts.
