Frost Expected Overnight in Ukraine on Tuesday, Daytime Temperatures to Reach 4-9°C
On Tuesday, April 7, Ukraine will experience overnight frost in some regions, with daytime temperatures ranging from 4 to 9 degrees Celsius, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
On Tuesday, April 7, meteorologists predict that Ukraine will experience frost overnight, while daytime temperatures will fluctuate between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius. This information was released in a statement by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, which was published on its official Facebook page and conveyed by the Ukrinform news agency.
According to meteorological data, wind conditions in Ukraine will be northwesterly, with speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second. In the southeastern regions of the country, gusts of wind may occur overnight, while during the day, gusts in the western regions could reach 15 to 20 meters per second.
Overnight temperatures are expected to range from 1 to 6 degrees Celsius, with the possibility of temperatures rising to 9 degrees in the southeastern part of the country. Meanwhile, in the western, northern, and most central regions, ground frost is anticipated, ranging from 0 to 3 degrees. Throughout the day, temperatures will rise to between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius, with southern regions potentially reaching 8 to 13 degrees Celsius.
In the capital region, cloudy weather with clearings is forecasted for Tuesday. No precipitation is expected overnight; however, a light rain may occur during the day. The wind in Kyiv will be northwesterly, with speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second.
Temperatures across the Kyiv region overnight will vary from 1 to 6 degrees Celsius, with ground frost possible in the range of 0 to 3 degrees. During the day, temperatures in the Kyiv region will be between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius. In Kyiv itself, overnight temperatures are expected to be between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius, rising to 6 to 8 degrees during the day.
Meteorologists also note that ground frost (0-3 degrees) in Kyiv may persist overnight on April 7, 8, and 9. This phenomenon has been classified as a level I danger, indicated by a yellow warning.
Earlier, meteorologist Natalka Didenko mentioned that there is a possibility of wet snow in Ukraine on April 8-9, which could complicate the weather conditions. Therefore, residents of the country should be prepared for changing weather conditions and potential inconveniences associated with these phenomena.
