On Thursday, October 26, the weather situation in Ukraine is expected to remain complex and uncomfortable. This information was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center via social media platform Facebook, with details provided by Ukrinform. According to forecasts, a cyclone located to the northeast of Ukrainian territory will continue to cause cold weather across the country. This will result in overcast skies with occasional clearings, as well as light rain and wet snow.

The report indicates that atmospheric pressure will be falling, while humidity levels will remain high. A strong wind blowing from the northern directions will add to the discomfort. In the eastern regions of the country, fog formation is possible during the night and morning hours, which may complicate visibility.

According to meteorologists, the cold air mass that will still impact the temperature regime will cause nighttime temperatures to fluctuate between 1-6 degrees Celsius. However, ground frost is possible, and in areas such as Eastern Ukraine, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, and Vinnytsia, air temperatures may drop to 0-3 degrees. The daytime maximum temperature across Ukraine will reach +3 to +8 degrees, while in the south and east of the country, temperatures could rise to 11 degrees Celsius.

In the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv, overcast weather with clearings is also expected on Thursday. Light rain is forecasted, with the possibility of wet snow during the night. The wind will be from the north, blowing at a speed of 5-10 m/s. In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures will range from 1-3 degrees Celsius, but ground frost may occur with temperatures between 0-2 degrees. During the day, temperatures in the capital are expected to rise to 5-7 degrees Celsius.

In the Kyiv region, nighttime temperatures will fluctuate from 1 to 6 degrees Celsius, with possible ground frost ranging from 0 to 3 degrees. Daytime temperatures in this region are anticipated to be around 3-8 degrees Celsius. Therefore, residents of the capital and the Kyiv region should be prepared for cold and rainy weather, as well as potential nighttime frosts.

Given these weather conditions, Ukrainians are urged to exercise caution on the roads, especially in conditions of fog and wet snow, which may complicate transport movement. Meteorologists also advise paying attention to changes in the weather and planning activities accordingly.
