Ukraine Expands Categories of Enterprises Eligible for Energy and Utility Support Payments
In a significant update to its support program, Ukraine has expanded the categories of enterprises eligible for financial assistance aimed at addressing the aftermath of Russian attacks and emergencies. The announcement was made by the state enterprise 'Diia', as reported by the Ukrinform news agency.
In Ukraine, an important update has been made to the support program for enterprises engaged in mitigating the consequences of Russian bombardments and emergencies. This announcement was made by the state enterprise 'Diia', as reported by the Ukrinform news agency.
According to the new changes, enterprises that have been involved in addressing the aftermath of Russian attacks and emergencies at the request of the Kyiv city and regional military administrations, as well as those that missed the deadlines for submitting applications, are now included in the program. This decision aims to provide greater support to companies working on the restoration of critical infrastructure amid the ongoing war.
It is worth noting that enterprises can submit a list of their employees to receive payments of 20,000 hryvnias by April 15 through the 'Diia' platform. These payments are intended to support workers directly engaged in infrastructure restoration, particularly repair teams working in the aftermath of aggressor attacks.
The new unified list of enterprises eligible for these payments will feature two categories: a primary list covering March and an additional list. The additional list will include companies that previously did not submit their employees or were not included in the original list. For these enterprises, there will be no restrictions on the number of employees in the application, significantly simplifying the process of obtaining assistance.
To apply for the support payments, the head of the enterprise or an authorized representative must log in to the 'Diia' portal, select the appropriate service, and submit an application. If the company is already on the lists approved by the ministries, the application form will open automatically, streamlining the procedure.
After completing the application, it is necessary to provide the details of the employees, including their last name, first name, patronymic, taxpayer registration number (RNOCPP), position, account number, and phone number. Following this, the application must be signed with a qualified electronic signature (QES).
Once the lists of employees are submitted to the bank, each employee will receive a push notification in the 'Diia' application, signaling that funds will soon be credited to their accounts.
As previously reported, over 14,000 workers from repair teams engaged in restoring critical infrastructure after Russian attacks will receive the 20,000 hryvnias payments for February. This initiative is part of the Ukrainian government's efforts to support enterprises and workers during these challenging times.
