Warm Spring Weather Expected in Ukraine This Weekend, with Rain in Some Areas on Saturday
Meteorologists forecast brief rain and thunderstorms in southern and eastern Ukraine on Saturday, April 4, while other regions will remain dry, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
In Ukraine, on Saturday, April 4, meteorologists predict brief rain and thunderstorms in the southern and eastern parts of the country, as well as in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In other regions, no precipitation is expected, as reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
During the night and morning hours in the northeastern part of Ukraine, fog may develop, which could complicate visibility. The wind on this day will predominantly be from the northwest, with speeds ranging from 7 to 12 meters per second.
Temperature readings at night will range from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures are expected to reach between 13 and 18 degrees. In the western regions, nighttime temperatures will be slightly lower, ranging from 1 to 6 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will be between 10 and 15 degrees.
In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, no precipitation is forecasted for Saturday either. The wind will remain northwesterly, with speeds of 7 to 12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures in Kyiv will be between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will rise to between 15 and 17 degrees.
The Central Geophysical Observatory named after Boris Sreznevsky notes that on April 4, the highest recorded daytime temperature in Kyiv was 21.9 degrees Celsius in 1990, while the lowest nighttime temperature, recorded in 1931, was -6.4 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, April 5, Ukraine is also expected to remain dry, with no precipitation anticipated. The wind will continue to be from the northwest, with speeds of 7 to 12 m/s; however, in the northeastern part of the country, gusts may reach 15 to 20 m/s during the day.
Nighttime temperatures across Ukraine will range from 3 to 8 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures are forecasted to be between 10 and 15 degrees, with the possibility of rising to 18 degrees in the southern and southeastern regions of the country.
In Kyiv on Sunday, no precipitation is expected as well. The wind will predominantly be from the northwest, with speeds of 7 to 12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures in the capital will range from 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will rise to between 13 and 15 degrees.
