Rescue Operations Concluded in Odesa Building Where Three Lives Were Lost Due to Russian Attack
Rescue operations have been completed in a high-rise residential complex in Odesa, where a brutal attack by Russian forces resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a young mother and her two-year-old daughter.
In Odesa, emergency rescue operations have concluded in a multi-story residential complex that was the site of a devastating attack by Russian military forces, leading to the tragic deaths of three people. Among the deceased are a young mother and her two-year-old daughter, as well as a 53-year-old woman. Preliminary reports indicate that an additional 16 individuals sustained injuries of varying severity.
According to information provided by the Odesa Regional Military Administration (OVA), the attack not only damaged the residential complex but also affected seven private homes in the Primorsky district. The situation in the city remains dire, as significant destruction has also been reported in the Kyiv district, where 13 apartment buildings were damaged. Over 850 windows have been shattered in these buildings, and 39 private houses have also suffered damage, with nine of them completely destroyed.
Representatives from the Odesa OVA have confirmed that the emergency rescue operations in the building where the fatalities occurred have been completed. Currently, efforts are underway to clear the area of debris and dismantle hazardous structures that may pose a threat to the safety of residents and rescuers.
As of now, the total number of injured individuals stands at 16, with some suffering serious injuries. Rescue services continue to operate at the scene to ensure safety and provide assistance to all those in need.
In both districts where the destruction occurred, operational headquarters remain active. Utility services are diligently working to clear the affected areas and secure damaged windows to prevent further injuries to residents.
