Passengers from seven regions in Ukraine can now purchase tickets for suburban train services directly from their smartphones. According to a statement posted on Ukrzaliznytsia's official Facebook page, the new features of the application are now available to residents of Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, and Chernivtsi regions. This means that passengers in these areas can now easily and quickly arrange tickets for suburban trains without leaving their homes.
To take advantage of this new service, users need to download the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application onto their phones. After downloading, they should navigate to the 'Suburban' section, select their desired route, and purchase a ticket. The electronic ticket is stored on the phone, which significantly simplifies the boarding process, as passengers can simply show their ticket on the screen of their mobile device.
