The U.Go network of gas stations, consisting of 21 facilities located in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions, is gradually transitioning to the UKRNAFTA branding. The rebranding process has already begun, with the first two gas stations set to operate under the new brand starting April 1, 2026.
This collaboration not only involves the implementation of a unified UKRNAFTA brand but also establishes service standards and integrates customer services, which include a mobile application, loyalty programs, and the NaftaPAY system. Furthermore, there are plans to unify approaches to network operations, ensuring high-quality customer service.
Serhiy Koretskyi, head of the Naftogaz Group, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, "The mutually beneficial partnership between the two companies that are part of the Naftogaz Group is another step towards enhancing the efficiency of managing state assets. It allows us to strengthen internal synergy and achieve results important for the energy resilience of the country more quickly."
Bogdan Kukura, Chairman of the Board of Ukrnafta, also highlighted the advantages of expanding the network through partnership models, noting, "Expanding the network through partnership models allows us to scale UKRNAFTA's presence in key regions more rapidly and provide customers with quality fuel and service."
Yuriy Tkachuk, General Director of Ukrgazvydobuvannia, added, "We are consolidating infrastructure and implementing unified standards for the state network. This is a logical step for the companies in the Naftogaz Group, which strengthen each other. The key aspect of this collaboration is synergy."
Upon completing the rebranding, the UKRNAFTA network will consist of nearly 700 gas stations, allowing it to remain the largest gas station network in Ukraine. Ukrnafta is the largest oil production company in the country and the operator of the national gas station network, UKRNAFTA. In 2024, the company also took over the management of Glusco's assets, and in 2025, it finalized a deal with Shell Overseas Investments BV to acquire the Shell network in Ukraine, resulting in a total of 660 gas stations under the company's management.
The company is implementing a comprehensive program to restore operations and update the format of its gas stations. Since February 2023, it has begun issuing its own fuel vouchers and "NAFTA Card" cards, which are sold to legal entities and individuals through Ukrnafta-Pochtach LLC.
The largest shareholder of Ukrnafta is Naftogaz of Ukraine, which holds a stake of 50% plus one share. In November 2022, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made the decision to transfer the state ownership of corporate rights previously held by private owners, which is now managed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
