Ukrenergo Plans to Limit Energy Consumption for Industry Across Ukraine on Wednesday

The national energy company of Ukraine, Ukrenergo, announced that on Wednesday, April 8, it will introduce restrictions on energy consumption for industrial consumers across all regions of the country. According to information released by the company via the social media platform Telegram, these restrictions will be in effect from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00.

The announcement highlights that these measures are necessary due to the consequences of recent missile and drone attacks carried out by Russian military forces on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. These attacks have significantly impacted the stability of electricity supply in the country, prompting Ukrenergo to take additional steps to ensure energy security.
