In a historic achievement for Ukrainian women's basketball, the team 'Frankivsk-KNUVS' has been crowned champions of the European Girls' Basketball League (U19). The Ukrainian players showcased impressive skills, winning all their matches in the finals held in Daugavpils, Latvia.

According to the Ukrainian Basketball Federation (FBU), the Ukrainian players exhibited remarkable performance, securing victories in all their matches during the final stage of the tournament, which took place in the Latvian city of Daugavpils.
During the group stage, 'Frankivsk-KNUVS' demonstrated their strength by defeating three teams. Their first opponent was the local club 'Daugavpils', which they overcame with a score of 59-46. Following this, 'Frankivsk-KNUVS' faced the 'Tallinn Academy', achieving another victory, this time with a score of 56-49. The final match of the group stage was against 'Riga/Centre', where the Ukrainian team again proved superior, winning 51-35.
The final match proved to be a true test for the team. 'Frankivsk-KNUVS' met 'Tallinn Academy' for the second time, and this encounter was even more intense. However, the Ukrainian players managed to emerge victorious, claiming the championship title with a score of 73-68. The Super Final, which featured the four strongest teams of the season, took place in Daugavpils, Latvia.
