In a decisive move against the ongoing absurd statements from Hungarian officials, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a new information project titled 'Hungarian Radio of Ukraine'. In response to the continuous absurd statements made by Hungarian officials, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has decided to launch a new information project called 'Hungarian Radio of Ukraine'. This 24/7 streaming service is designed to broadcast Kyiv's official position, refuting the numerous manipulations and misinformation being spread by Hungarian officials. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgiy Tikhiy.
Georgiy Tikhiy noted that daily statements from Hungarian officials provoke astonishment and outrage in Ukraine. 'We are tired of reacting to each of them and have decided to publish our position online in the form of a radio station available around the clock. We call it 'Hungarian Radio of Ukraine',' Tikhiy wrote in his post on the social media platform X.
'Hungarian Radio of Ukraine' is hosted on a specialized online platform for internet radio streaming and broadcasts the same text in three languages: Hungarian, Ukrainian, and English. This decision was made to maximize audience reach and convey truthful information about Ukraine's position to listeners.
In his statement, Tikhiy emphasized that Ukraine rejects the manipulations regularly permitted by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his team. 'We condemn his consistent attempts to involve Ukraine in his internal politics or electoral campaign. Ukraine has never wished and does not wish harm to neighboring Hungary,' the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed.
Tikhiy also urged Hungarians not to trust the 'toxic anti-Ukrainian propaganda' that is voiced daily by Hungarian officials. 'We are destined to be good neighbors, members of the EU and NATO, rather than part of the 'Russian world'. Thank you for listening to 'Hungarian Radio of Ukraine',' he added.
The launch of 'Hungarian Radio of Ukraine' represents a significant step in the fight against misinformation and attempts at manipulation by Hungarian officials. This radio station aims not only to refute false statements but also to strengthen bilateral relations between Ukraine and Hungary, which, despite existing difficulties, remain important for both countries.
