Attack on Minibus in Nikopol: Death Toll Rises to Four, 16 Injured

In a tragic incident in Nikopol, the death toll has risen to four following a devastating strike by a Russian FPV drone on a city minibus, with 16 individuals reported injured. This information was confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation and the need for decisive action in response to aggression.

In Nikopol, a horrific strike by a Russian FPV drone on a city minibus has resulted in the death of four individuals, while 16 others have sustained injuries. This information was shared by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky through his Telegram channel, highlighting the gravity of the situation and the urgent need for a strong response to ongoing aggression.

President Zelensky noted that currently, seven of the injured are hospitalized with severe injuries resulting from the attack. An additional nine individuals received medical assistance at the scene. The President expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased, stating that such acts of terror against civilians are unacceptable.

The head of state also emphasized that Russian forces continue to carry out targeted terror against the population of Nikopol and other settlements located near the front line. He reminded the public that a recent cynical attack on the Nikopol market resulted in the deaths of five people and injuries to 28 others. President Zelensky underscored that such acts of violence are part of ongoing 'safaris' against people occurring in Kherson, where new victims are reported daily.

Zelensky also expressed outrage at attempts to weaken sanctions against Russia amid ongoing terror against the civilian population. 'When such terror against people and lives occurs daily, blocking new sanctions against Russia, attempts to ease sanctions, and trade with Russia seem outrageous. This should not happen here in Europe or anywhere in the world,' he stated. The President called for collective efforts to combat aggression, stressing that the killers must be stopped decisively and uncompromisingly.

This tragedy serves as yet another reminder that the war in Ukraine continues, with civilians suffering from violence that has no justification. According to previously released information, the strike on the bus occurred on Tuesday morning as the vehicle approached a public transport stop. This incident has sparked widespread public outcry, as it exemplifies the ruthless aggression faced by Ukrainians daily.

In light of these events, the President urged the international community to take active measures and support Ukraine in its fight against the aggressor. He emphasized the importance of maintaining unity and solidarity in the struggle for peace and security in the region. Zelensky's calls for action and support resonate particularly strongly as the international community grapples with challenges posed by Russian aggression.

It is worth noting that the situation in Nikopol and other cities under attack remains tense. Local residents continue to face danger, and the humanitarian situation requires urgent attention. The Ukrainian government and international organizations are working to provide assistance to those affected, but the challenges facing the country remain serious.

This incident once again underscores the necessity for decisive action from the international community to ensure safety and protect human rights in Ukraine. Only through collective efforts can the threats arising from aggression and terror be overcome.
