Attack on Minibus in Nikopol: Death Toll Rises to Four, 16 Injured

The head of state also emphasized that Russian forces continue to carry out targeted terror against the population of Nikopol and other settlements located near the front line. He reminded the public that a recent cynical attack on the Nikopol market resulted in the deaths of five people and injuries to 28 others. President Zelensky underscored that such acts of violence are part of ongoing 'safaris' against people occurring in Kherson, where new victims are reported daily.

Zelensky also expressed outrage at attempts to weaken sanctions against Russia amid ongoing terror against the civilian population. 'When such terror against people and lives occurs daily, blocking new sanctions against Russia, attempts to ease sanctions, and trade with Russia seem outrageous. This should not happen here in Europe or anywhere in the world,' he stated. The President called for collective efforts to combat aggression, stressing that the killers must be stopped decisively and uncompromisingly.
