In Zaporizhzhia District, Russian Strike Sends Vehicle into River: One Man Killed

On April 3, 2023, the Zaporizhzhia District was once again the scene of aggression by the Russian army, which launched strikes on Ukrainian territory. This tragic incident resulted in the death of one man and left three others injured, according to Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

Fedorov stated that the strikes were recorded between the villages of Tavriyske and Yurkiivka. During the attack, a vehicle was damaged, and the explosion sent it careening into a river. Unfortunately, the man who was inside this vehicle died at the scene. This incident serves as yet another horrific example of the consequences of the aggression that Russian forces continue to perpetrate on Ukrainian soil.

In addition to this, the village of Bilenke was also under fire, where a 57-year-old man sustained injuries as a result of the shelling. His condition is currently being assessed, but medical personnel are providing the necessary assistance. Fedorov also noted that several enemy strikes were recorded in Novomykolaivka. As a result of these attacks, private homes, outbuildings, and a social facility were destroyed. Preliminary reports indicate that two people were injured during these bombardments. This underscores that Russian forces do not hesitate to target civilian objects, causing harm not only to military targets but also to innocent residents.

These events occur against the backdrop of escalating conflict in Ukraine, where Russian forces continue to launch attacks on various regions of the country.
