Six Apartment Buildings Damaged in Zaporizhzhia Due to Russian Attacks

In Zaporizhzhia, six apartment buildings have been reported damaged as a result of hostile attacks, according to the city's council press service.

In Zaporizhzhia, as a consequence of enemy attacks, damage has been recorded to six apartment buildings across two districts of the city. This information was reported by the press service of the Zaporizhzhia City Council via its Telegram channel, as conveyed by the information agency Ukrinform.

According to the data provided by the city council, five apartment buildings in the Zavodskyi district were damaged. As a result of the shelling, windows were shattered and balconies were damaged. Additionally, in the Oleksandrivskyi district, one apartment building was hit, resulting in broken windows and damage to the roof.

To mitigate the aftermath of the attack, workers from the municipal enterprise 'Zaporizhremservis,' rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES), police officers, as well as specialists from the district administration and the Department of Social Protection of the Population were involved. Initial work to eliminate the consequences has already been completed, and further assistance will be provided upon requests to the city contact center at the number 15-80.

It is noteworthy that over the past day, Russian occupiers have launched 856 strikes on 45 populated areas in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of these hostile attacks on the regional center and the Zaporizhzhia district, four individuals sustained injuries. These figures underscore the severity of the situation in the region, where active combat operations are ongoing.

Moreover, as reported by Ukrinform, in the Bilenkivska community in Zaporizhzhia, a team from the regional energy company came under fire, resulting in damage to their equipment. This indicates that the enemy attacks not only inflict damage on residential buildings but also impact infrastructure, which in turn complicates the restoration of electricity supply and other vital services for the population.

In such conditions, it is crucial for residents of the region to remain safe and adhere to the recommendations of local authorities. The situation remains tense, and the residents of Zaporizhzhia continue to suffer from the consequences of aggression that has persisted for an extended period. Authorities urge everyone to exercise caution and report any emergencies.
