Russia Loses Another 1,180 Soldiers in War Against Ukraine – General Staff
In a significant development in the ongoing conflict, Ukrainian Defense Forces have reported the elimination of 1,180 Russian soldiers within the last day, marking a notable achievement in their fight against Russian aggression.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully neutralized 1,180 Russian occupiers, a substantial accomplishment in the ongoing battle against aggression from Russia. Additionally, four tanks and 206 units of automotive equipment, including fuel tankers used by the enemy to support their military operations, were destroyed.
This information was disclosed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, indicating the continuation of active combat operations along the front lines. Since the onset of the war on February 24, 2022, total combat losses of Russian troops are estimated to be approximately 1,303,550 personnel, with 1,180 of those casualties occurring in just the last day.
During this period, Russian forces have also lost 11,839 tanks, four of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours. Furthermore, Ukrainian forces have eliminated 24,350 armored fighting vehicles, 39,439 artillery systems, and 1,719 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). These figures highlight the severe losses that the adversary has incurred throughout the conflict.
It is noteworthy that Ukrainian forces have also destroyed 219,443 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with 2,427 of these being eliminated in the past day alone. This underscores the critical role of drones in modern warfare, where they play an essential part in reconnaissance and targeting operations.
Moreover, the total losses of the enemy's automotive equipment and fuel tankers have reached 87,355 units, with 206 destroyed in the last 24 hours. The enemy has also lost 4,112 units of specialized equipment, three of which were recently destroyed. These numbers reflect the continuous pressure that Ukrainian Defense Forces are exerting on Russian troops, inflicting significant losses.
