Man Stabs Two Soldiers in Vinnytsia TCC

A serious incident occurred in Vinnytsia where a man stabbed two servicemen from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SS). The Vinnytsia Regional TCC and SS reported the incident on their official Facebook page, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

According to the report, the event took place during mobilization activities when servicemen from one of the district territorial centers for recruitment and social support, in collaboration with the National Police, stopped a citizen for a document check. The servicemen identified themselves and attempted to ascertain the identity of the man, who suddenly pulled out a knife and inflicted several wounds, resulting in two military personnel sustaining stab injuries.

Following the incident, the injured servicemen were urgently transported to a medical facility for necessary medical assistance. As of now, one of the wounded is in the intensive care unit in serious but stable condition, while the condition of the other serviceman is assessed as satisfactory.

Law enforcement agencies are already working at the scene of the incident, conducting investigative actions to clarify all circumstances surrounding the event. It is known that the detained citizen has been a violator of military registration since 2025, raising additional questions regarding his actions and motives.

This incident occurred against the backdrop of escalating tensions in Ukraine, where TCC and SS servicemen are fulfilling important tasks related to mobilization and supporting the country's defense capabilities. It is important to note that such incidents can pose threats not only to military personnel but also to civilians, necessitating serious responses from law enforcement agencies.

It is worth recalling that recently, on April 4, a farewell ceremony was held in Lviv for the deceased serviceman of the TCC, Oleg Avdeyev, who became a victim of an attack during notification activities. This case underscores the importance of the safety of military personnel while performing their official duties and raises concerns among the population.
