A Memorial Sign Unveiled in the Capital to Mark the Fourth Anniversary of Kyiv Region's Liberation

In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, a solemn ceremony was held to unveil a memorial sign symbolizing the fourth anniversary of the liberation of the Kyiv region from Russian troops. The event was announced by representatives of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their official Facebook page.

This memorial sign, in the form of a slab, carries profound symbolic meaning. It embodies the destroyed intentions of the enemy, who hoped to seize Kyiv in just three days. The slab features red arrows that depict the plan of the Russian invasion, emphasizing the absurdity of the enemy's intentions. Between the two broken parts of the slab, which seem to tear it apart, a steel stele has been installed, showcasing the insignias of all the units that participated in the liberation of the Kyiv region.

Present at the event was Deputy Commander for Psychological Support, Chief of the Personnel Psychological Support Department of the Ground Forces Command, Yevhen Sasko. He shared memories of the events of February-March 2022, noting that victory was made possible not only through military skill and ingenuity but also through the unity of the Ukrainian people. This event marked a significant milestone in Ukraine's struggle for its independence and territorial integrity.
