Man Threatens to Detonate Grenades in Rivne, Arrested After Three-Hour Negotiation

On the evening of April 4, an alarming situation unfolded in Rivne when a man, in a state of unauthorized absence from military service, threatened to detonate two grenades. Law enforcement received a report of the incident from a National Guard serviceman who witnessed the dangerous situation on Soborna Street.

According to information provided by the police, around 8:30 PM, the duty unit received a report that a 43-year-old resident of the village of Orzhiv had pulled the pin from a grenade during a check, threatening to blow it up.
