Ukrainian Consul Discusses Priorities for Supporting Armed Forces in Málaga
In Málaga, a significant meeting took place where Ukrainian Consul Volodymyr Lukyanov discussed priorities for aiding the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with representatives from Ukrainian associations.
A crucial meeting was held in Málaga, where Ukrainian Consul Volodymyr Lukyanov engaged in discussions regarding the priorities for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with representatives from various Ukrainian associations. This information was reported by the Consulate on its official Facebook page, as conveyed by Ukrinform.
The gathering included leaders from Ukrainian communities across ten cities within the consular district, including Málaga, Seville, Fuengirola, Marbella, Almería, Mijas, Roquetas del Mar, Cartagena, Adeje, and Murcia. The objective of this meeting was to establish a constructive dialogue between diplomats and activists, which would facilitate more effective resolutions to the pressing issues facing the Ukrainian diaspora.
During the discussions, participants identified key areas of focus for the near future. The prioritized areas included regular and targeted assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the implementation of humanitarian, charitable, and volunteer projects, as well as the support and development of cultural initiatives aimed at preserving Ukrainian identity.
“I am confident that the unification of efforts, effective communication, and mutual support will strengthen the Ukrainian community and enhance assistance to Ukraine,” emphasized Consul Volodymyr Lukyanov, highlighting the importance of collaboration among all parties involved in the process.
The diplomat also expressed gratitude to all participants for their openness and the suggestions made, which he believes will improve interaction between the consular institution and the public sector. According to him, such meetings aim to make the Ukrainian presence in Spain more cohesive and to ensure that assistance to Ukraine is systematic and effective.
It is noteworthy that recently, representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in Andalusia, along with Consul Volodymyr Lukyanov, held a meeting with Ukrainian servicemen currently in Spain to carry out designated tasks. This meeting marked another step towards strengthening the ties between the Ukrainian community and its representatives in Ukraine.
