Fire in Kyiv Due to Enemy Attack and Debris Fall

On Saturday, October 28, a fire erupted in Kyiv as a result of an enemy attack, which was initiated by the fall of debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. This incident occurred in the morning, and at 6:29 AM, an air raid alert was declared due to the threat posed by enemy strike drones.

According to information provided by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the fire ignited on the top floor of a four-story office building, where, according to preliminary data, debris from the drone had fallen. "In the Darnytskyi district, based on initial reports, a fire broke out on the top floor of a four-story office building due to the fall of UAV debris on its roof. Emergency services are heading to the scene," Klitschko stated in his announcement.

The air raid alert in Kyiv was issued at 6:29 AM, indicating a serious threat from enemy forces. By 6:54 AM, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KOVA) confirmed that air defense systems were actively working to destroy enemy UAVs that were attempting to attack the Kyiv region.
