In the capital of Moldova, Chișinău, an unforgettable performance titled 'Ukrainian Necklace' was presented by young actors from the Kyiv region. This event provided an opportunity for children who have experienced the ravages of war to feel the warmth of art and receive support from grateful audiences. This was reported by the head of the Association of the Ukrainian Movement in Moldova, Zinaida Hurska.

The initiative for this significant visit came from public activist and history teacher Natalia Vitsynska. She noted that for the participants of the theater studio 'Povitryula', this trip was a chance to escape the constant shelling and immerse themselves in a world of art filled with genuine emotions. The children, who have endured bombings, attacks, and the loss of loved ones, were given the opportunity to transport themselves to another world where creativity and emotions reign.

The performance evoked a storm of emotions in the audience, who sincerely applauded the young actors for their impeccable portrayal of scenes from the life of a Ukrainian village, reflecting its customs, traditions, folklore, and the Ukrainian language. 'It was incredible! I felt like I was part of something great as I watched the children recreate our culture,' shared one audience member.

Zinaida Hurska emphasized that the head of the children's studio, Nikol Stakhovska, and the entire theater team did everything possible to make this trip to Moldova happen. They aimed for the children not only to perform but also to communicate with new friends and showcase the richness of the Ukrainian language and national heritage.

Natalia Vitsynska expressed gratitude to everyone who supported this initiative. 'We have traveled a thorny path, where not everything was easy. But we were helped by familiar and unfamiliar people, my former students who financially supported us, so to speak, hand in hand, providing funds for the children's travel, meals, and accommodation,' she noted, underscoring the importance of collective support.

Vitsynska also thanked the family of Moldovan parliament member from the 'Action and Solidarity' party, Natalia Davidovych, as well as Sergey Ambrosiy, who currently lives in Germany, and Lyudmila Taranko, a teacher at the M. Grecu Lyceum, for their assistance in realizing this project.

The initiative by Natalia Vitsynska received organizational support from the Agency for Interethnic Relations, headed by Vyacheslav Ryabchynskiy, as well as the Ministry of Education and Research, represented by Ivan Dumynike. Directors of lyceums and schools where Ukrainian is taught also actively supported this initiative, and students emotionally applauded their talented peers from Ukraine.

'It was not easy, but we accomplished what we set out to do because unity is a great strength, and today we stand with Ukraine,' emphasized parliament member Natalia Davidovych after the performance, highlighting the importance of cultural cooperation between countries.

It is worth noting that a large-scale celebration titled 'Mosaic of Identity', dedicated to the cultural diversity of Moldova, also took place in Chișinău. The Ukrainian diaspora, which has doubled in recent years, presented a large delegation, reflecting the active participation of Ukrainians in the cultural life of the country.
