Woman Killed and Three Injured in Russian Shelling in Kherson

In a tragic incident in Kherson's Koralnyi district, a woman lost her life and three others were injured due to shelling by Russian terrorists. This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on his Telegram channel, as conveyed by the Ukrinform news agency.

The shelling occurred around 10:00 AM, according to Prokudin. As a result of the enemy attack, an elderly woman was killed on the spot. Emergency medical services transported three women to the hospital, aged 79, 44, and 86. All of them sustained serious injuries, including shrapnel wounds, concussions, as well as explosive and closed traumatic brain injuries.

Prokudin noted that one of the injured women is in critical condition. This highlights the severity of the consequences of the shelling and the urgent need for medical assistance for the victims.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office confirmed that at the time of the attack, the deceased woman and the injured were outside. This further underscores the danger faced by civilians in regions subjected to bombardments by Russian forces.

As previously reported, over the past day in the Kherson region, five individuals were injured due to Russian aggression. This situation raises serious concerns among local residents, who repeatedly become victims of this senseless war.

Local residents are calling for increased security measures and protection from shelling, as such incidents are becoming more frequent. Authorities promise to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of the population; however, the reality remains grim.
