Police Captain Killed in Kherson Drone Attack

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in the Central district of Kherson when an enemy FPV drone attacked a police special forces vehicle, resulting in the death of Captain Vitaliy Kukharchuk, who was fulfilling his duties to protect the city from threats posed by Russian troops.

According to information provided by the police, the attack took place in the morning while the vehicle of the special police battalion (infantry) of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region was stationed in the Central district. The hostile drone struck, causing injuries to Captain Kukharchuk that were ultimately fatal.
