Three Injured in Shelling in Kharkiv Region
Authorities in the Kharkiv region reported that three individuals sustained injuries due to enemy shelling that occurred on Sunday. Investigations into the war crimes have already begun, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Law enforcement agencies in the Kharkiv region have documented the consequences of enemy shelling that took place on Sunday, resulting in injuries to three individuals. According to the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, preliminary investigations have been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes in accordance with Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In the morning, around 8:00 AM, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched an attack on the settlement of Lisne, utilizing a drone, preliminarily identified as of the 'Geran' type. As a result of this shelling, a private household was damaged, and the 46-year-old homeowner sought medical assistance.
Approximately at 9:45 AM, a new attack by an enemy drone occurred in the village of Slatyne, which resulted in damage to a residential building. A woman was injured in this incident, and her condition is currently being assessed, although medical personnel have already provided the necessary assistance.
Around 11:10 AM, another drone strike was recorded in the city of Chuhuiv, this time involving a V2U type drone, which hit an outbuilding. This incident caused a fire that required immediate response from rescue services. During the examination of the scene, remnants of the drone were discovered, confirming the fact of the attack.
Additionally, a 56-year-old woman who found herself at the epicenter of the events was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. This indicates the psychological impact that the war has on the local population, as constant shelling and threats to life evoke serious emotional distress.
The situation in the Kharkiv region remains tense. Law enforcement continues to document the consequences of enemy actions and provides assistance to the victims. Meanwhile, the prosecutor's office is actively working on investigating war crimes to hold those responsible accountable.
