In addition to the child's death, five other individuals were injured due to the Russian strikes in the region. Among the injured are a man and two women who were urgently hospitalized. Reports indicate that Russian forces launched more than ten attacks on four districts in Dnipropetrovsk, utilizing drones, which underscores the escalating aggression from Russia.
According to the SES, a private residential house in the Pokrovsk community caught fire as a result of drone strikes. This incident damaged three households and a vehicle. These events have raised concerns among local residents who have witnessed the horrific consequences of the war.
Moreover, the towns of Pavlohrad and the Bohdanivka community also came under enemy fire. Three men were injured there, and administrative buildings and power lines were damaged. In the Kryvyi Rih district, infrastructure facilities were also affected by the shelling, complicating the lives of local residents.
In the Nikopol district, which also suffered from shelling, a private house, a vehicle, and an administrative building were damaged. According to the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office, on April 6, nine people were injured in Nikopol due to Russian shelling, including two minors—a 1.5-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. Additionally, the infrastructure was severely damaged, with a pharmacy, residential buildings, and vehicles affected, indicating the scale of the destruction.
This situation highlights the alarming reality faced by residents of Dnipropetrovsk, who continue to live under the threat of ongoing shelling. Local authorities and emergency services are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of the population; however, the situation remains critical.
