Weather Forecast for Easter Revealed by Meteorologist

Ukrainian meteorologist Natalka Didenko has shared her weather forecast for Easter, highlighting the cold temperatures expected across the country on April 10.

According to a report by Ukrinform, meteorologist Natalka Didenko published her weather forecast for Easter on the social media platform Facebook, drawing attention to the cold temperatures that will persist in Ukraine on April 10.

Didenko stated that during the upcoming night, air temperatures in Ukraine will range from +1 to +6 degrees Celsius, with potential frosts in some regions falling within the range of 0 to 3 degrees. This indicates that spring is not yet eager to bring warmth to the Ukrainian populace.

Throughout the day on April 10, temperatures are not expected to rise above +3 to +7 degrees Celsius in most regions of the country. In the southern areas, particularly in the southeast, temperatures will be slightly higher, ranging from +7 to +11 degrees. The wind on this day will be from the north and northwest, moderate, with possible strong gusts that will add to the chilly feeling.

In the northern and central regions, as well as in Kharkiv, Didenko forecasts rain, and in some places, wet snow is possible. In the south, particularly in the Luhansk, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, rain is also expected. In the western regions of Ukraine, however, no significant precipitation is anticipated, which may come as a pleasant surprise for residents of those areas.

In the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv, on April 10, meteorologists predict rain mixed with wet snow. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between +1 and +3 degrees, with potential frosts in the outskirts ranging from 0 to 3 degrees. During the day, temperatures are expected to rise to around +5 degrees, which is still not comfortable for the spring season.

Didenko noted that on Saturday, April 11, the synoptic situation in Ukraine will not undergo significant changes, so similar weather conditions are to be expected as on Friday.

On Easter Sunday, April 12, intermittent rain and some clear spells are expected across almost the entire territory of Ukraine. According to the meteorologist's forecast, the night before Easter will see temperatures ranging from +2 to +5 degrees, with the possibility of frost if clouds do not cover the sky. During the day on April 12, temperatures will warm up to +7-11 degrees, and in the Left Bank region, they may reach +8-14 degrees, providing some comfort for the celebrations.

Didenko also mentioned that a more noticeable warming trend is expected from April 14-15, giving hope that spring will finally assert its presence.

Additionally, it is worth noting that in the Carpathians, temperatures have dropped to -10 degrees Celsius, indicating that the weather remains harsh in the mountainous regions.
