Ukrainian Defense Forces Regain Control Over 12 Settlements in the Oleksandrivka Direction - Syrskyi

Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully regained control over 12 settlements in the Oleksandrivka direction, as reported by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on social media.

In a significant update on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced via Facebook that Ukrainian military forces have regained control over 12 settlements in the Oleksandrivka direction. This information, reported by Ukrinform, underscores the importance of this achievement for the Ukrainian army amidst the ongoing hostilities.

Syrskyi reminded followers that offensive operations by Ukrainian defenders in this area of the front have been ongoing since the end of January. This prolonged effort reflects the determination and persistence of Ukrainian military forces in their struggle to liberate their territories from Russian aggression.

During his recent working visit to the Oleksandrivka direction, Syrskyi met with the leadership of the offensive grouping, where Major General Oleg Apostol provided a report on the current situation and the results of previous tasks. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the effectiveness of the active operations of the Defense Forces in designated sectors, as well as strategies to counter the assault actions of the Russian army, which continues its offensive intentions unabated.

According to information provided by Syrskyi, the enemy continues to attack in the areas of Ternove, Oleksandrhrad, Ivanivka, Zelenyi Hai, Andriivka-Klevtsove, and Sychneve, directing its efforts towards Sosnivka, Verbove, and Zlahoda. Last week, Russian troops launched a total of 64 attacks in this area of the front, indicating their activity and intentions to continue the offensive.

The Russian Federation's army shows no signs of abandoning its offensive operations, regrouping its forces and resources. Despite significant losses in personnel and military equipment, the aggressors are eager to seize more Ukrainian territory, attempting to create a buffer zone in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This situation raises serious concerns among Ukrainian military personnel and command.

Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct active defense steadfastly and consistently, inflicting substantial fire damage on the occupiers, destroying enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment. This information reflects the resolve of Ukrainian military forces in their fight for their country.

Additionally, the Commander-in-Chief conducted a working visit to the Pokrovsk direction, where he received a report on the current situation and problematic issues from the commander of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Yevhen Lasiichuk, as well as from commanders of military units. During this meeting, Syrskyi issued orders for additional supplies of ammunition and other logistical resources to enhance the firepower of Ukrainian units in Donetsk region.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Oleksandrivka direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have already liberated 480 square kilometers of territory, marking a significant achievement in the context of the current military situation. These successes demonstrate the effectiveness of the efforts of Ukrainian military forces in their fight to restore control over their territories.
