Quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Basketball Superleague Playoffs Kick Off
The first day of the playoffs in the Ukrainian Basketball Superleague featured four thrilling quarterfinal matches, closely watched by fans and experts alike. However, Kyiv-Basket regained control in the third and fourth quarters, ultimately finishing the game with a score of 73-64.
The third match was a tense showdown between 'Kharkiv Sokoly' and 'Niko-Basket'. Kharkiv Sokoly celebrated a hard-fought victory with a final score of 89-81. The first quarter concluded with a slight edge for Kharkiv Sokoly at 21-20, and they increased their lead to 28-20 in the second quarter. Niko-Basket managed to close the gap in the third quarter, winning it 22-18, but Kharkiv Sokoly dominated the final quarter, sealing the game at 89-81.
The last match of the day saw 'Prykarpattia-Hoverla' go up against 'Rivne'. Rivne claimed victory with a score of 79-71. Prykarpattia-Hoverla started strong, winning the first quarter 26-14, but Rivne turned the tide in the following quarters, winning the second quarter 26-17, the third 16-13, and the fourth 26-12, ultimately clinching the game.
