According to regional officials , six people were injured during the assault. A 62-year-old man was hospitalized with blast injuries and is in moderate condition, while five other victims were treated at the scene for acute stress reactions. These strikes are part of a broader intensification of Russian drone activity on Saturday, May 2. Earlier in the day, drones targeted gas stations in the Osnovianskyi and Saltivskyi districts, wounding three civilians, and a car dealership was damaged. Beyond Kharkiv, Russian drones also repeatedly targeted public transport in Kherson , striking two minibuses and causing multiple casualties. While the Ukrainian Air Force intercepted 142 of 163 drones launched nationwide overnight , several reached their targets, impacting infrastructure in 12 different locations across the country.
